Eid el-Kabir: Kogi Housing Commissioner, Extends Sallah gifts to people of Ajaokuta LGA
The Kogi State Commissioner for Housing and urban development, Taiye Abanika has distributed food items and cash donations to the people of Ajaokuta Local Government Area, as part of the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
The event attracted community stakeholders, religious leaders, party stalwarts, youth, and women groups from across Ajaokuta Local Government Area.
Speaking during the occasion, the Commissioner expressed gratitude for their presence and support, promising to make future Sallah celebrations even more memorable.
He praised the Executive Governor of Kogi State for his developmental initiatives and highlighted the achievements of his office during his tenure.
He reaffirmed his commitment to making Ajaokuta proud and attracting further development to both Ajaokuta and the entire Kogi State.
He noted that the donations were part of his effort to complement the work already done by the Governor and the Ajaokuta House of Representatives member Hon. Sanni Abdulraheem Egidi.
Stakeholders in their various speeches appreciated the Commissioner’s gesture and urged him to continue in his efforts to support the ongoing developmental turnaround under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
