The federal lawmaker said Eid-el-Kabir offers Nigerians another opportunity for reflection, compassion, and renewed commitment to building a stronger and more prosperous country.
According to him, the current phase of economic reforms in Nigeria requires collective understanding, patriotism, and support from citizens, stressing that difficult but necessary decisions are often required to reposition the nation for long-term growth and sustainability.
Abejide specifically commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as courageous and determined efforts to address the long-standing economic and structural challenges confronting the country.
He noted that the ongoing reforms initiated by the Tinubu administration are aimed at rebuilding a more stable, self-reliant, and productive economy capable of securing a better future for Nigerians.
The lawmaker further urged Nigerians to remain patient and optimistic, expressing confidence that the country would emerge stronger through sustained support for the administration’s policies and programmes.
“In the spirit of Eid-el-Kabir, Nigerians must continue to pray for peace, stability, progress, and economic recovery. This is a time for renewed hope, unity, and collective responsibility towards national development,” he stated.
Abejide also appealed to citizens to support continuity and stability in governance beyond 2027, emphasizing that consistent leadership and policy direction are critical to sustainable national development and economic advancement.
He encouraged Nigerians to extend love and support to the less privileged during the festive season while promoting peaceful coexistence and mutual understanding across religious and ethnic lines.
