EID-EL-KABIR: JERRY OMODARA FELICITATES WITH MUSLIMS

….harps on peace, love and unity

The State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara, has felicitated with Muslim faithfuls all across the globe and particularly Kogi State on the occasion of the 2024 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Commander Omodara in his Sallah message, congratulated Muslims for yet another historical landmark of festivities, urged Nigerians and particularly Kogites to see the celebration as a morale booster in our nation’s quest for peace, unity and progress.

He added that the need for all Nigerians to be prayerful and continue to live in peace and harmony, love and cherish one another as people of one nation under God’s bound in freedom, peace and unity.

He also noted that Eid-el-Kabir celebration is a time to offer sacrifice to glorify Almighty Allah, urging Muslims to remain committed to the core values of peace, love, unity, patience, tolerance, perseverance and sacrifice as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad.

The security chief also added that Muslims aside from exemplifying a life of sacrifice and submission just like the Prophet did, should as well extend their arms of benevolence and kindness to people.

He called on security agencies in Kogi State to take a proper watch in order to ensure safety of live and property during and after the Sallah celebration.
