Special Adviser on Labour matters, Onuh Edoka felicitates with Muslims, government on Eid El Kabir celebration
The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Labour Matters, Comrade Onuh Edoka has felicitated with Muslims on the occasion of the Eid El Kabir celebration.
In a Sallah message on Friday, Comrade Onuh Edoka admonished Muslims to reflect on the celebration which stresses the importance of sacrifice, love and piety among others.
He called for sober reflection on the reason for the season, saying as a religion of peace, Muslims must show love to all by giving to the needy, as commanded by Allah.
The Special Adviser congratulated Muslims for witnessing another Eid El Kabir and expressed optimism that the celebration would usher in greater good for all despite the prevailing challenges facing the nation.
Comrade Edoka also urged them to use the opportunity to pray for the government of the day under the Chief Servant, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo whose desire is ensure a greater Kogi State that will be a pride to all.
“I admonish all Muslims to show love, be united and tolerant to all, this season offers unique opportunity to offer supplications to Allah for forgiveness of sins and offer sacrifices which connotes obedience to Allah’s instructions as shown by the Prophet, we must all therefore see this as a good example that obedient is key”, he stated.
Edoka also felicitates with the Chief Servant of the State, the people’s Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, his Deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu, members of the State Executive Council and others for witnessing a ruburst Eid El Kabir celebration and wished everyone a memorable celebration.
