Ebbe Boat Mishap: Senator Karimi fulfills pledge of ₦10 million to victim’s families, pays additional #6 million for the completion of Pakuta bridge
The senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District and Chairman of Senate Services, Sunday Karimi, has redeemed his pledge of ten million naira (₦10m) that he made to support the families that were involved in the Ebbe boat mishap that claimed lives when he visited Kupa to commiserate with the family and community.
The Egbe mekun born Engineer turned politician, also added the sum of six million nairas (₦6m) for the completion of the Pakuta bridge in Kiri land which was initially estimated to cost seventeen million nairas (₦17m), making the total money released for the project now to twenty-three million (₦23m).
This was disclosed to our news desk through his media office in Abuja, re-emphasizing the determination and commitment of the Senator to put his constituents first by providing qualitative representation at the red chamber.
Senator Karimi, the media office concluded, will continue to fulfill his campaign promises and also contribute his quota to the overall development of not only Kogi West but the entire nation and humanity
