Engr. Obitunwase to Bury father this weekend in Kabba
The remains of the father of Engr. Ibukun Obitunwase, (COREN ,ITIL, SCSE) will be buried this weekend in Kabba in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, north central, Nigeria.
According to the program of events made available to newsmen by the family, the burial arrangement of Arakunrin Emmanuel Obitunwase who died recently at the aged of 92 was announced.
‘The family has announced the burial arrangement of their father, grandfather and great grandfather, Arakunrin Emmanuel Obitunwase Umoru who died on the 27th June, 2023 at the ripe aged of 92’
According to the program of events, the burial arrangement will come up on Saturday, 26th August, 2023 at the Expandable Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Oribi Quarters Opposite MOPOL 70 BASE Behind NNPC, Okene – Kabba Express Way, Kabba, Kogi State
Reception will follow at Johnny’s Event Centre, Kabba where guests will be entertained and a video documentary of the life and times of Pa Emmaunel Obitunwase will be beamed live.
It will be recalled that Arakunrin Emmanuel Obitunwase Umoru is one of the offspring of the Obagewa dynasty from Ego before he migrated with his family to the present day Oke-Oja community, Kabba.
Speaking to Democracynewsline, one of the descendants of Umoru Obagewa dynasty, Matthew Ajigi noted that without the efforts of late Pa Obitunwase, he wouldn’t have been able to have primary school education, stressing that he was responsible for his primary school education that laid the foundation of his academic pursuit in life.
He described late Obitunwase as a devoted Jehovah witness that truly loved whoever that crossed his path while alive, noting that he will be greatly missed.
