Engr Olafemi Expresses Optimism Over Ododo’s Victory

Engr Folorunsho Olafemi,a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State on Friday expressed optimism that the party would continue in power the state come November 11.

Olafemi who spoke with FocusNGR correspondents said that the APC chances in the governorship contest is very bright as Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman is the man to beat.

Olafemi said that if Ododo is returned elected, he will consolidate on GYB’s achievements and harness the untapped potentials of Kogi for the good of the citizens.

According to him, Ododo will improve security, facilitate industrialisation, ensure good welfare for the people and revolutionalise development in the state.

“Ahead of the November 11, 2023 gubernatorial election and among the numerous candidates vying to succeed Governor Yahaya Bello, everybody knows that the candidate of our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman is the candidate to beat. Ododo is very much on ground, even down to the hinterlands part of the state. He’s the most popular and most prepared to govern among them all.

“Alhaji Ododo enjoys the people’s support as a result of the his input and contributions to the present administration. He’s our best bet as a people who yearn for more development.

Speaking further, Engr Olafemi described Ododo as a unity candidate, whose candidature has further united the party, rather than tear it apart as witnessed in other parties.

“Alhaji Ododo is a unity candidate. No grievance has been expressed over his candidature, instead, eminent opposition leaders keep trooping in their numbers into our great party on daily basis. This is a good omen for us, the progressives. As such, I’m very much optimistic of a resounding and unprecedented victory for APC at the poll,” he concluded.
