Fashagba Applauds Bode Adeyemi’s Courageous Drive for Unity, Shared Prosperity in Kogi
LOKOJA — The Provost of Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, Dr. Femi Paul Fashagba, has commended the Convener of the Kogi West Unity Accord, Hon. Bode Adeyemi, for his courage, vision and sustained commitment to promoting unity, development and shared prosperity in Kogi State.
Dr. Fashagba made the commendation at the ongoing Kogi Power Rotation Summit 2026, held in Lokoja, where stakeholders gathered to deliberate on issues concerning the political, social and developmental future of the state.
The Provost described Adeyemi as a courageous and visionary personality whose efforts to foster unity and reposition Kogi State for inclusive development and shared prosperity deserve recognition and broad-based support.
According to him, the advancement of Kogi State requires stakeholders and citizens to transcend individual interests and work together towards common objectives capable of delivering sustainable development and improved opportunities for the people.
Dr. Fashagba stressed that unity, cooperation and collective responsibility remain essential ingredients for building a peaceful, prosperous and progressive society.
He therefore called on the people of Kogi State, political leaders, traditional institutions, professionals, civil society groups and other stakeholders to support initiatives designed to promote peaceful coexistence, mutual understanding and sustainable development across the state.
The Provost expressed optimism that Kogi State possesses the human and material resources required to attain greater heights, provided its people remain committed to a shared vision and collective action.
He noted that initiatives such as the Kogi West Unity Accord could provide platforms for constructive engagement and collaboration among stakeholders in the collective interest of the state.
Dr. Fashagba reaffirmed his belief that a united Kogi, driven by a common purpose and commitment to inclusive progress, can unlock new opportunities and secure a more prosperous future for present and succeeding generations.
