Federal College of Medical Laboratory Science and Technology Jos, Wears New Look.

The Outgoing Minister of state For Health,Hon. Joseph Ekunankama,Hailed The Provost of the Federal College of Medical Laboratory Science and Technology for his giant stride in completing projects that started since 1983,which have been there for more than forty Years,the minister made the recommendation at the College Permanent site,located in Nukpis (Lamingo) in Jos North LGA of Plateau state.

According to the Minister,the current management team led by the Provost,had demonstrated uncommon disposition in repositioning the Institution to a college by initiating and facilitating the process of the bill that enacted the act of the parliament establishing the College.

According to him,it is amazing to know that the contract for the Multipurpose Assembly Hall which is part of the projects was awarded since 1983.

The minister salute the visionary efforts of the Founding fathers of the College.

He appeal to the Government both Federal and state, Organizations and Spirited individuals as well as the Private organizations to support the College to achieve it’s goals considering the immense Professional manpower contributions to the health sector of Nigeria economy over the years.

The Minister further commend the resilience and determination of the management and staff of the College for the achievements recorded in the face of paucity of funds.

Earlier in His Address,the Provost of the College,Ogbong Sunday Etukudoh, Express his appreciation to God, management and the entire staff of the Institution for the support and achieving a such remarkable feat.

He also commended the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria,Mohamadu Buhari,Ministry of Health for approving his second tenure of four years.

Adagwom Jos Izere,who was represented by Adagwom Danladi Kaze, appreciated the minister for coming and pleaded with the management to sustain the cordial relationship with the host community by giving them employment opportunities and scholarship for their Children.

The minister when round to commission the projects which includes Basic Science Laboratory, Multipurpose Auditorium, Multipurpose Diagnostic,Research and Molecular Biology Laboratory,Among others .

The minister was later lay a foundation for the construction of Administrative and Academic blocks and finally inspected a land earmarked for convocation
