The Executive Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal has redeemed his earlier pledge of paying outstanding salaries owed to workers of the State before the commencement of Eid Kabir (Sallah) celebrations.

The Governor out of his magnanimity, humility and compassion for civil servants in the State had in different fora pledged to source funds elsewhere to pay the State workers their outstanding salary of two months denied them by the immediate past Administration.

With this development, therefore, the people’s oriented Governor has succeeded in putting smiles on the faces of the State workers while assuring them of better days ahead in terms of prompt and timely payment of salary and entitlements.

On the forthcoming June salary and pension arrears to both State and Local Government pensioners, the State Chief Executive assured them that arrangements are in the pipeline to ensure swift payment as at when due.

Furthermore, Governor Lawal solicits for support, understanding and fervent prayers from the good people of Zamfara for the State to overcome its decade-old security challenges which is one of his (6) six points cardinal agenda.
