The Baale of Amuro Land, His Highness, Chief Eric Fiki, has praised the Chief Servant of Kogi State, Gov Ahmed Usman Ododo for his exemplary leadership and commitment to the people of Kogi State.

In an interview with our Correspondent on Sunday in Lokoja, Chief Fiki described Gov Ododo as a “true champion of the people”, citing his simplicity, humility, and inclusive governance.

He highlighted the governor’s focus on human capital development, empowering youth and women, and promoting education, skills acquisition, and entrepreneurship.

The Baale also commended Gov Ododo’s support for the traditional institution and his engagement with traditional leaders in decision-making processes.

“Notably, Gov Ododo has shown unwavering support for the traditional institution, recognizing the crucial role traditional leaders play in promoting peace and development.

“He has engaged with traditional leaders, seeking their counsel and involving them in decision-making processes,” he said.

He noted the even distribution of projects across the three Senatorial Districts, citing roads, healthcare facilities, and schools being constructed to improve the quality of life for Kogi citizens.

The Amuro Baale praised Gov Ododo’s grassroots development agenda, efforts to tackle insecurity, and his humility, saying he remains accessible and puts the needs of the people above personal interests.

“What sets Gov Ododo apart is his humility. He remains accessible, always putting the needs of the people above personal interests.

“He attends community events, listens to concerns, and responds with empathy.

“This rare quality makes him an exceptional leader, and I wholeheartedly recommend him for a second term.

“As a leader, he has shown that power is not about pomp, but about serving the people. His vision for Kogi State is clear, and with his proven track record, we can achieve greatness.

“I assure him of our full support in Amuro, Mopamuro LGA, and Kogi State at large.

“Kogi State is our home, and Gov Ododo is leading us towards a brighter future. Let us rally behind him and give him the opportunity to continue his good work.

“Together, we can build a prosperous Kogi State, where everyone has access to opportunities and a better life.

“I urge all Kogi citizens to join me in supporting the Chief Servant, His Excellency, Gov Ahmed Usman Ododo’s re-election bid. Together, let’s build a better Kogi State,” Chief Fiki said.
