Group Becons On Hon. Leke Abejide To Join APC.
Yagba Progressive Forum, a pro All Progressives Congress (APC) group, has called on Hon. Leke Abejide, member representing Yagba East, Yagba West, and Mopamuro Federal Constituency of Kogi State to join the party “so that his good works and value can be more appreciated”.
The Forum made the call on Friday through its Convener, Barr. James Fabola at the state headquarters, Lokoja.
Barr. Fabola, who was also a member of the Presidential Campaign Council in the last election, said, they have x-ray the political state of Yagba, “Hon. Abejide has so far shown that he is a progressive representative through his works, words, and deeds since assuming office.

“Leadership, they say, is the ability to identify and deliver the interests of a person and group of people for a common cause this is not far-fetched in the realities of political development in Kogi state and Yagba East, Yagba West and Mopamuro Federal Constituency as it concerns Rep. Leke Abejide.
The group observed the position of Hon. Leke Abejide and, therefore, pass a vote of confidence on him in view of his outstanding performance both on the floor and outside the National Assembly.
The group applauds the giant strides of Hon. Abejide through his empowerment schemes, notably the free-interest loan to women. It was noted that capturing is ongoing in Kabba Bunu-Ijumu for the women free loan. The flag-off of road construction from Igbagun to Ijowa Isanlu and many other projects were also noted.
They added that for Abejide to advance more, he should consider joining the APC.
“This is because joining the APC will put him on the same page with President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, who has the interest of Kogi state in his heart and has been doing his best to advance it.
“Besides, Hon. Abejide will be on the same page with his other counterparts in the State who are of the APC, and together they will have a common ground and work more for the interest and development of the people in general, maintain his relationships with the ruling party.
Also, most of the legislators from the state are in APC, and they can work hand-in-hand to move the state forward, because the relationship between the executive and the legislature cannot be overemphasized in the pursuance of progress and development.
So, if Abejide joins the APC, his value will be better appreciated, his good intentions and works would yield result more rapidly.”
The group urged the Honourable Member to take the bold step by officially joining APC so that he can work with Governor Ododo, his friend on the path of progress to boost the vital growth of the state.
They passed their recommendations that since the achievements of Abejide are not without his alliance with the APC through a vote of confidence on his leadership.
In the interest of the good people of Yagba, Kogi state and Nigeria Abejide, the group recommended that Abejide yield to their call and officially join the ruling party All Progressive Congress APC where he will be able to serve the people better.
The critical stakeholders and leaders present from Yagba, the Chairman of Yagba East, Hon. Dare Joshua, Chairman of Yagba West, Hon. Tosin Olokun, and Chairman of Mopamuro, Hon. Ademola Bello, Hon. Aderonke Aro, Chief Richard Asaje, Hon. Toba Adebayo, Chief Mrs Ebun Joel and many other critical stakeholders from Yagba and Kogi State made the clarion call on Abejide to officially join APC.
