Gyese (Tudun Wada) AYM/Stakeholders Parley

Mentorship, Leadership and Patriotism took centre stage as the Afizere Youth Movement, AYM, of Gyese, also known as Tudun Wada in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, held a stakeholders’ parley.
The youth, under the leadership of Comrade Mark Isha, brought together youths, elders, traditional rulers, women, politicians and other critical stakeholders for a roundtable discussion on mentorship and patriotism among the Afizere people.
The historic and memorable event took place at the Institute of Geosciences and Mining, Tudun Wada.
Speaking on patriotism among the Afizere nation, the former AYM Chairman of Jos North Branch, Comrade Philip Israel Isha, said patriotism is love for one’s community or state. He added that there is need for more patriotism among Afizere youths, not only in Tudun Wada but also in Jos North, Plateau State, and the country as a whole.
Asmour Arin, in his presentation, spoke extensively on leadership and mentorship. He said that for leadership to succeed, there must be purpose and focus, and that leadership in the Afizere nation comes with full responsibilities. He charged the youths to mentor the younger ones.
Goodwill messages were delivered by Hon. Danjuma Azi, APC candidate for Jos North West Constituency; Comrade Vincent Nyam, President of the Afizere Youth Movement; and the ACCDA Chairman of Tudun Wada.
Highlights of the event included prayers and blessings from the District Head of Tudun Wada, Adagwom Peter Nyam, JP, and other elders.
