Handing over: I’ll Surely Miss Bello- Engr. Gegu, Commissioner for Solid Minerals.

The Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr. Bashiru Gegu has sent a heart touching farewell greetings to Gov. Yahaya Bello, maintaining that Gov. Bello will be greatly missed by him and the State in general.

In a message of eulogy, Engr. Bashiru said, Gov. Bello will be greatly missed by me, but expressed optimism and confidence that the Governor is handing over a State to a man who understands the system very well.

” Without mincing words, I will greatly miss Gov. Yahaya Bello even though he is handing over the State to a trusted, friendly and worthy successor”.

” His monumental achievements as Governor would stand the test of time. His ideology and cohesive tendency in uniting the various segment of Kogi State will be largely missed”.

” Without over stating the obvious, Gov. Bello came, He saw and created a wide vacuum for OAU to fill. I know the Governor elect has the capacity, intellectual ability to fill that vacuum, it will only take time and Kogi State will be the better for it”.

” Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman has gone through the blast furnace of governance and came out well refined, remodelled and rebuild, ready to pilot us to another safe and easy landing”.

“My Boss Gov. Yahaya Bello will be missed by my humble self in how he addresses my name. His jokes, the love, the care, the responsiveness and the dividends of democracy and every other good things I am doing for humanity he thought me how to do”.

“My prayers for him is for Allah to protect, guide, guard and elevate him beyond human imagination. Amin”, GYB Akoro.

Engr. Bashiru Gegu expressed gratitude to Gov. Bello for making Kogi State, Kogi LGA his number one priority in the last eight years, prayed God to grant him good health and prosperity in his future political and other endeavors.
