Hon. Aguye Danladi Wins Best House Reps Member in Empowerment Programs from North-Central

The Honourable Member representing Kogi/Lokoja Federal Constituency in Kogi State, Hon. Suleiman Danladi Aguye, has been named the Best House of Representatives member in Empowerment Programs from the North-Central Zone of Nigeria by Democracy Newsline Newspaper.
According to a press statement signed by the publisher and CEO, Chief Olugbemi Femi, Hon. Aguye’s exceptional commitment to the needs of his constituents is acknowledged, considering his robust representation and legislative ability to attract more dividends of democracy to his constituents.

Hon. Aguye has received numerous awards for his outstanding leadership skills and contributions to the welfare of his constituents. Some of his notable achievements include providing financial support to the aged and widows in his constituency, Paying hospital bills for sick persons and establishing health centers, Offering scholarships to indigent students and Installing solar streetlights and renovating school buildings.
He said the award will be presented during the 15th Public Lecture and Award Ceremony on August 26, 2025, at the Banquet Hall, National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja by 5pm.
The ceremony will feature a Red Carpet Ceremony, main event, and dinner program, with the theme “The Role of Independent Media Organizations in Promoting Participatory Democracy and Good Governance in Nigeria.”
The occasion will also mark the launch of a ₦100 million fund for podcast studio equipment and the establishment of Democracy Newsline Newspaper Online Television, aimed at promoting democracy and good governance in Nigeria.
This event promises to be significant, bringing together leaders and stakeholders to discuss important issues and celebrate excellence.
