Hon. Abejide Commissions Townhall Road In Isanlu Community.
The member representing Yagba East, Yagba West and Mopamuro Federal Constituency, Hon. Leke Abejide as commissioned Isanlu townhall township road.
At the grand commissioning ceremony, Hon. Leke Abejide, His Royal Majesty Oba Moses Babatunde Etombi, Chief Omotosho Henry the Isanlu Progressive Union President and other members of the Isanlu community officially opened the road for the benefit of the people of Isanlu community.
During the commissioning ceremony, His Royal Majesty Oba Moses Etombi appreciated the road construction by Hon. Leke.

In his words, we appreciate Rt.Hon. Leke Abejide our Honourable son, he promised to construct the road and he has delivered as promise, we pray that God will continue to strengthen him to do more.
He said, “We saw the road being constructed by Hon. Abejide, we have come to commission the road, the extent and quality of the project, it is not just the construction the road, it is laying a foundation for a road that will stand the test of time. The concrete drainages on the road will go a long way to guarantee a long span for the road. It is better to be an inlaw to the President than to be a brother to the President”.
Hon. Abejide during his remark appreciated God and the Roayl Father.
“I want to appreciate God, and our royal father HRM Oba Moses Etombi his reign has been peaceful and has brought development to Isanlu community. If we look closely we will see that God has brought HRM to reign as a paramount ruler.
First, I have three major projects in Isanlu town, the road we are commissioning today Isanlu townhall road, Kajola-Obada market road Makutu and another one is going to takeoff soon; Itedo Irunda road which would be flagged off.
More roads will be constructed to enhance security, boost trade and commerce, and foster social interaction among our citizens also, streetlights will be installed here to light up the Isanlu townhall township road.
“Isanlu is the headquarters of Yagba Federal Constituency but it doesn’t look like the headquarters of a local government, therefore during my tenure of office I will change the look, same as Yagba west and Mopamuro as well to make our people happy anytime they come to the local government headquarters. Therefore, we are building roads that will enhance commercial activities in Yagba.
“The gap of infrastructural needs is steadily been bridged by a gradual process of building a lasting road infrastructure, construction of new roads and other infrastructures”.
Recall, Hon. Abejide flagged off the construction and asphalt laying of the road December 2024, where he promised that the road will be commissioned during this year’s Isanlu day.
Today’s road commissioning symbolises the progress we are making together as a community and reflects our collective aspirations for a better tomorrow. As a people we must progress and not retrogress.
Rt.Hon. Abejide, HRM Oba Moses Etombi, Chief Omotosho, Hon. Hassan, other traditional rulers, Isanlu Progressive Union and other members of the community commissioned the road for the benefit of man kind.
