In a demonstration of people-focused leadership, Honourable Adejoh Halidu Usman Kogi member representing Idah Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, has continued to deliver on his campaign promises, especially in reaching out to the widows, orphans, vulnerable groups, women, youths, and party loyalists across his constituency.

Since taking office, Hon. Halidu Usman Kogi has earned the trust and admiration of constituents by initiating several empowerment programmes that directly touch the lives of the underserved. From financial support to widows, educational materials for children, to skill-building opportunities for youths, his actions have positioned him as a truly responsive representative.

As part of his ongoing commitment to social inclusion, Hon. Halidu Usman Kogi is making plans to visit and support orphans at the Arabic Musha’id School in Idah, an institution that offers a blend of Arabic and Western education to orphans and underprivileged children in the area.

Sources close to the lawmaker say the outreach will include:

Distribution of educational materials and writing tools

Food and clothing supplies

Personal care items

And moral support to motivate the children

Hon. Zakari Muhammad (El-Jay), a respected political figure and former Special adviser in Idah Local Government Area, confirmed the development and praised the lawmaker’s consistency.

> “This is not the first time Hon. Halidu is reaching out to orphans and vulnerable groups. He has done it before. Plans are in top gear to do it again—this time, with an even greater impact,” Hon. Zakari said.

He further urged the lawmaker to sustain the momentum, describing his leadership style as “genuinely people-oriented and result-driven.”

The forthcoming outreach to the Arabic Musha’idu School stands as another testament to his unwavering commitment to inclusive development, especially for the most vulnerable in society.
