Hon. Buhari Abdulbaki Bello Declares for House of Reps under ADC
Hon. Buhari Abdulbaki Bello, popularly known as BAB, has formally declared his intention to run for the House of Representatives seat representing Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections under the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
In his declaration speech, BAB emphasized his commitment to serving the people and addressing pressing issues such as youth unemployment, infrastructure development, and economic opportunities. He outlined key focus areas, including youth and women empowerment, attraction of federal projects, educational support, and agricultural development.

HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES ASPIRANT,
OKENE/OGORI-MAGONGO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY
UNDER THE AFRICAN DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS (ADC)
2027 GENERAL ELECTION
My dear people of Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency, today marks a defining moment in our collective journey toward progress, development, and purposeful representation.
With deep humility, a strong sense of duty, and unwavering commitment to our people, I, Hon. BAB, hereby formally declare my intention to contest for the position of Member, House of Representatives, representing Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency in the forthcoming 2027 General Elections under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
I am proud to stand under the banner of the African Democratic Congress, a party founded on justice, inclusiveness, transparency, accountability, and people-centered governance.
The ADC represents hope for credible leadership and sustainable development, and I firmly believe that it provides the right platform to drive meaningful change for our constituency.
This declaration is by passionate desire to serve genuinely.
Our constituency deserves strong, visible, and effective representation at the National Assembly; representation that listens keenly, speaks boldly, and delivers desired results.
Our people are faced with numerous challenges, such as: youth unemployment, limited economic opportunities, inadequate infrastructure, insufficient federal presence and interventions, and the need for stronger support for our farmers, traders, and artisans.
These challenges require proactive leadership, strategic engagement at the federal level, and consistent grassroots connection.
If I am entrusted with your mandate, my focus will be:
1. Youth and women empowerments through vocational training, entrepreneurship funding, and job placement initiatives.
2. Attraction of federal projects, physical infrastructure and socioeconomic development to our constituency.
3. Educational support programmes, scholarships and improved learning facilities.
4. Agricultural support schemes and access to grants for small-scale businesses and skilled workers.
5. Responsible and accessible representation with regular townhall engagements.
Under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), we will champion such policies that prioritize the welfare of our people and ensure that Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency takes its rightful place in national development.
This is a call for unity. A call for paradigm shift. A call for purposeful representation.
I urge our elders, youth, women, community leaders, professionals, and all other stakeholders in Ogori Magongo and Okene, based at home, based at other places and in the diaspora to join this movement in the best interest of our people.
Together, under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), we can build a constituency that works for everyone.
