WARRI — The Ugo of Uzere Kingdom, Hon. Chief (Prince) Akpo Abugo, has extended warm birthday wishes to His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, former Governor of Delta State, on the occasion of his 66th birthday, describing him as “the political Iroko whose deep roots of leadership continue to bear fruits across the state and nation.”

In a heartfelt message released Monday, Chief Abugo praised the former Governor for his selfless service, visionary leadership, and enduring commitment to Delta State’s peace and prosperity.

> “Your Excellency, your meritorious service to Delta State remains unmatched. As Governor, you brought stability, growth, and purposeful governance. Your choice to back the current Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, at a critical time in our political history speaks volumes of your courage, foresight, and love for Delta State,” he said.

Chief Abugo further noted that the success of the Oborevwori administration is a clear validation of Okowa’s leadership wisdom, and he called on the former Governor to consider returning to the Senate in 2027, saying Delta State and Nigeria still have much to gain from his wealth of experience.

“You are our Political Iroko, standing tall and strong in the service of the people. As you mark 66, I pray for divine strength, long life, and continued wisdom,” he added.
