Hon Samuel Aro Congratulates Abejide and Wife on Milestone Celebrations
Hon Samuel Aro, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and frontline senatorial aspirant for Kogi West, has congratulated Rt Hon Leke Abejide and his wife, Chief (Mrs) Esther Modupe Abejide, on their 20th wedding anniversary and 50th birthday celebration, respectively.
Aro, a former lawmaker, expressed his congratulations while speaking with newsmen at the sidelines of the event held at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Center in Abuja.
He described Abejide as a younger brother who holds him in high esteem, and said he was honored to attend the celebration.
The APC chieftain confirmed his intention to contest the forthcoming senatorial election to represent Kogi West, citing unresolved issues that prompted his 2015 bid.
“The problems that made me contest in 2015 still persist, and I have the solutions to the challenges,” he said.
Aro urged party faithful and the people of Kogi West to keep hope alive, promising to bring a new perspective to the senatorial seat if elected.
He prayed for the Abejide family, wishing them more years of good health and prosperity.
Abejide, a member of the House of Representatives representing Yagba Federal Constituency, has been a prominent figure in Kogi politics.
His milestone celebrations drew attention from across the political spectrum in Nigeria.
