ADC 2023 Running mate, Dr. Omede Idris Praises Leke Abejide on Milestone Celebrations
Dr. Omede Idris, ADC Running mate in the 2023 Kogi State governorship election, has praised Rt Hon Leke Abejide on his wife’s 50th birthday and their 20th wedding anniversary.
In an interview, Idris described Abejide as a “wonderful person” and a “man with a large heart” who has the interest of the people at heart. “He’s a man who has service as his ordinary people,” Idris said.
Idris expressed his confidence in Abejide’s future endeavors, stating that he has dreams and intentions for humanity that will materialize in his prime age.

He wished Abejide more greatness and success.
When asked about his advice to politicians, Idris said Abejide’s performance speaks for itself, and he should be encouraged to continue serving. “When people are performing, I think it gives them the ability to continue to perform,” he said.
Idris also urged people to stop the “poor dance syndrome” where individuals are criticized for not pleasing everyone. “If you are serving people, it’s not possible to serve everybody 100%,” he said, emphasizing that Abejide is doing well and deserves support.
Abejide, a member of the House of Representatives, has been a prominent figure in Kogi politics, and his milestone celebrations drew attention from across the political spectrum in Nigeria.
