Founder of National T-Plan Drug Abuse Rehabilitation, Dr. Aminu Gumel from Jigawa State, expressed confidence in the newly appointed coordinators, commending the National Co-ordinator, Hon. Bala Salihu Dawakin Kudu, for ensuring the selection of competent individuals.
He emphasized that the fight against drug abuse requires compassion and dedication, as those struggling with addiction need guidance and rehabilitation rather than punishment. Her new role as South West Regional Co-ordinator will provide her with an even greater platform to help combat drug abuse and rehabilitate affected youth.
As the Co-founder of Future Promise Group of Schools, Abeokuta, and Chief Executive Officer of Terra Integrated Services Limited, she reaffirmed her commitment to expanding awareness campaigns, counseling programs, and educational scholarships to encourage young people to stay away from drug abuse and build meaningful careers.
