The Location of the market is very strategic and has historical connotations as the name Jos which means Gwash in Izere dialect is to promote and sustained such historical facts and equally bequeath to the younger generations.
The Market will be observed on Fridays where local Izere dishes such as the famous Izere porridge, Bambara Nuts,Bush meats mix with benni seeds,Acha meals, local gruel prepared with millet,Acha among other captivating and delicacies to the admiration of the customers.

I see this market as a place of unity because, people will be coming from all walks of life to the market to patronize, gist with one another, have some leisure time and catch funs with one another.
Is a symbol of our Culture and I’m proud to be part of it.
Earlier delivering his speech, the National President of the Afizere Cultural and Community Development Association (ACCDA) Engineer Yakubu Ashoms praised God for the success of the event and call on all Izere sons and daughters to be part of the History and ensure they unite and patronize the Market, also presenting her good will message, the National President of Women Wing of ACCDA,Angwo Anap Madaki rejoices with the entire Izere Nation for achieving such a remarkable feat.

Izere People are very peaceful and hospitable.
The Izere Regalia is similar to that of Baju people with the exception of the black color and the cowries that is included on that of the Izere people.
The cowries are very important especially the Asharwa dancers dress with it iam more of Izere person and our Baju people are also very accommodating that’s why everywhere we go,our siblings go with us,where a Baju man settled, the Kataf,Kagoro and the rest of them will follow which is almost the same thing the Izere people, wherever you settle,it becomes a home for everybody.
The Curator Assured the Afizere people of his readiness to work with them and promote culture and tradition of the the people.
He also specifically thank Mr. Azok Agwom who’s always working round the clock to promote the Afizere settlement as tourists attraction which is sine qua non in promoting the the culture and spirit of the Izere Nation.
There was Asharwa International Dancers who thrilled the dignitaries and customers that came out to patronize and catch the glimpse of their eyes.
It was beehive of activities as the traders who were stationed strategically were attending to customers and made brick businesses and sells.
As the enthusiastic customers were actively participating in the act of buying and selling,it is an indication that the businesses will continue to boom with the admiration of all.
A plaque of appreciation was presented to the Curator by the President of ACCDA.
