Just In: Former Secretary to Kogi State Govt, Chief Shola Ojo resigns from PDP

By Sunday Ajayi – Lokoja

Former Secretary to Kogi State Government under the administration of Governor Ibrahim Idris between 2003 and 2007, and former House of Reps Member between 1999 and 2003, Chief Shola Ojo has resigned his membership from the main opposition party, People’s Democratic Party, (PDP).

He made this known in a letter he addressed to the party ward chairman in Odole Ward 1 in Mopamuro local government area and sighted by our reporter.

According to him, his resignation is based on personal reason, wished the party success in its future undertaking.

His resignation may not be unconnected with the way and manner Senator Dino Melaye was alleged to have hijacked the party delegates list which gave him an edge over other contestants during the party primary that was held in lokoja few weeks ago. Attached is the letter
