Kabba in Kabba-Bunu local government area of Kogi State, in a groundbreaking ceremony, His Royal Majesty, the Obaro of Kabba, and Chairman of Obalufon Royal Fathers, commissioned 165 solar streetlights across various neighborhoods, including Fehinti, Kakun, Otu, Gbeleko, Okedayo, Kajola, and Odolu. This initiative marks a significant milestone in the quest to illuminate and transform Kabba communities, promoting safety, security, and progress.
The Obaro of Kabba seized the opportunity to urge sons and daughters of Oweland to unite and work together for the progress of their homeland. “Unity is the key to unlocking our full potential,” he emphasized. “Let us come together to build a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come.”
The initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Obagogoro Foundation and Tymme Energy Resources Ltd, in partnership with the National Productivity Centre, Abuja. Deacon Folorunsho Olubiyo, a member of the board of directors of the foundation, encouraged the community to support the foundation wholeheartedly, enabling it to continue making a positive impact.
The Obagogoro Foundation was established by the family of Late Senior Apostle Michael Obafemi Olubiyo, a renowned leader and visionary, to honor his legacy and inspire future generations with his life of service.
This development is expected to have a profound impact on the lives of residents, enhancing safety, security, and overall quality of life. The people of Kabba communities have expressed their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for this significant contribution to their well-being.
As the solar streetlights shine bright, they symbolize the unity and progress that will illuminate the future of Kabba communities.
