Kabba (Owe) Okemeta Council of Chiefs Congratulates Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, on his One Year in office
The Kabba (Owe) Okemeta Council of Chiefs has congratulated the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the occasion of his one year celebration of purposeful and pragmatic leadership in the State.
In a message made available to newsmen in Lokoja by its chairman, High Chief Adegboyega Aka, Obafon of Oweland felicitated with the ‘Chief Servant’ of the State for all the milestone achievements in the course of the one year of the administration.
The council lauded the commitment of the Governor in the development of all sectors, particularly in upholding the culture and traditions of the people of various communities in the state, stressing that they are proud of his leadership style.
The statement further added that “the Governor is a progressive minded leader, who has the interest of the people at heart hence the reference to him as the ‘People’s Governor’ with echoes of his success across the State.
He called on all Kogites at home and in the diaspora to join hands with the progressive Governor to continue to support the efforts of government aimed at fast tracking the vision of a more united and that would be the cynosure of all.
The council, also acknowledged the commitment of the Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Oyibo Salifu, in supporting his principal for the rapid growth and development of the State.
He added that : “We can all achieve greatness through our collective efforts.
“Once again, I congratulate your Excellency on your One Year anniversary in steering the administration in the state and pray that God will spare our lives to witness more success in Kogi State,” the statement concluded.
