Kabba (Owe) Okemeta Council of Chiefs Rejoice With Hon. Duro Meseko on his Well-Deserved Appointment
The Kabba (Owe) Okemeta Council of Chiefs has congratulated Hon. Durosinmi Meseko on his appointment by President Tinubu, as the Board Chairman, Nigerian Building Research Institute (NBRI).
This was disclosed in a message signed by the chairman of the council, Chief Adegboyega Aka Obafon of Oweland, and made available to newsmen in Lokoja, described the appointment by Mr President as well-deserved.
According to the statement, Hon. Durosinmi Meseko has made remarkable contributions to national development as a former member of the National Assembly and as a distinguished media practitioner.
“Hon. Meseko has made significant contributions at the sub-nationally level especially in the area of socio-economic and political development of Kogi state and Nigeria at large”
The statement further read as, “considering the importance of the building and road sectors as critical components of our national infrastructure for national development, we expressed our confidence that the new Chairman of the Board of the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute will provide creditable leadership that will enable the Institute deliver on its core mandate”
The progressive council said they are proud to associate themselves with Hon. Meseko’s great achievements, prayed that God will grant him the wisdom, knowledge, understanding and good health to function in his new assignment.
