The visit, which marked the beginning of their reunion activities, included a road walk from St. Augustine’s College, Kabba, to the Obaro’s palace in Ayokanmi Quarter, Kabba metropolis.

The group, comprising individuals who attended secondary schools in Kabba and graduated between 1990 and 1999, regardless of tribe or religion, came to show respect and solidarity with the traditional ruler.

Speaking at the palace, Prince Morgan Alepa, Coordinator of the group, commended Oba Owoniyi for his advocacy for development in the area and announced plans to execute a project in the community by 2026, to be commissioned by the monarch.

The Obaro appreciated the gesture, encouraging the alumni to continue working towards the development of their alma mater and community.

The event continued at the Olonijola Event Center, where members and guests socialized and enjoyed music.

Speakers, including the Obadofin of Oweland, HRH Oba Segun Areh, praised the group’s initiative, emphasizing the importance of youth involvement in community development.
