Karimi Ward A Coordinator Empowers Women with Yuletide Cash Support in Lokoja

Women in Ward A, Lokongoma, Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State have received cash empowerment to enable them celebrate the Christmas and New Year festivities in joy and dignity.

The empowerment initiative was facilitated by the Ward A Coordinator of Distinguished Senator Sunday Karimi (DSSK), Comrade Shaibu Bello, as part of ongoing efforts to support vulnerable groups at the grassroots.

Speaking with journalists in Lokoja, Comrade Bello said the gesture aligns with the people-oriented programmes of Senator Sunday Karimi Campaign Network for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT), aimed in improving the welfare of women and other vulnerable members of society.

According to him, the cash support was designed to ease the economic burden on families and ensure that women in the ward enjoy the yuletide season with their loved ones.

“This empowerment is part of the renewed commitment of Distinguished Senator Sunday Karimi Campaign Network for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to ensure that women and vulnerable people at the grassroots feel the impact of governance,” Bello said.

He commended President Tinubu for what he described as “visionary leadership at the national level,” as well as Senator Karimi for his consistent interventions and developmental initiatives across Kogi West Senatorial District.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Sunday Karimi have continued to put smiles on the faces of our people through people-focused programmes. This initiative is another clear demonstration of their compassion and dedication to the welfare of ordinary Nigerians,” he added.

Comrade Bello noted that the empowerment programme would go a long way in bringing relief and happiness to beneficiaries, particularly women and vulnerable persons in Ward A.

“This support will help our mothers celebrate Christmas and the New Year with joy. It reflects the heart of leaders who truly care about the people,” he said.

He further called on residents of Kogi West to remain steadfast in their support for President Tinubu and Senator Karimi, stressing that continuity in leadership would guarantee the sustenance of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“We are fully committed to mobilising massive support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Sunday Karimi in 2027, so they can continue to deliver dividends of democracy to our people,” Bello stated.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful, while pledging their continued support for the current administration and its representatives.
