Kogi APC Ward Chairman, Regard Saiye Sunday loses father-in-law in Oboroke, Ihima
The Chairman of Otu Ward and Chairman of Chairmen of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Mr Saiye Sunday aka Regard has lost his father-in-law, Mallam Salihu Gomino to the cold hands of death after a brief illness yesterday.
According to information made available to newsmen by his family, Mallam Gomino died in the early hours of yesterday at his country home, Oboroke in Ihima, Okehi Local Government Area where he spent the later parts of his life after retirement.
Mallam Gomino was known to be a gentle, hardworking, kind and straightforward man who spent most of his lifetime in Kabba while working in the Local Government Secondary School, Otu-Egunbe where he retired meritoriously after 35 years in service.
He has since been buried yesterday in line with Islamic injunctions.
He is survived by his wife, brothers, sisters and children among whom is the wife of the Chairman of Chairmen, APC Kabba-Bunu, Mrs Halimat Folashade Sunday
