Kogi Council Election: Westadon Declares For Yagba East Chairmanship Polls.
A business Entrepreneurship Expert and Managing Director of Richer ground Integrated Farming Center in Lokoja, Mr Temitope Balogun popularly known as Westadon has declared his intention to contest the forthcoming Local Government election As Chairman of Yagba East council area.
Mr Tope Balogun from Ejuku ward 5 in Yagba East Local Government Area is a well-known philanthropist and grassroots youth mobilizer in Yagba federal Constituency.
Timitope who made his intention known earlier today in Lokoja said he is out to contest the forthcoming council Championship election As part of his determination to right the abnormals currently being peddled in Yagba East council area.
The Yagba East Chairmanship hopeful made his decisions known to News men in Lokoja following the outcome of stakeholders meeting organized by the state electoral commission SIEC in Lokoja on Tuesday 16th July 2024
It would be recalled that the State Independent Electoral commission has slatted 19th October 2024 for the council elections across the 21 LGAS of the state.
During a critical stakeholders’ meeting, Hon. Mamman Nda Eri, Chairman of KOSIEC, presented the detailed election timetable and schedule of activities. He highlighted the importance of following constitutional guidelines and assured that the Commission is diligently preparing for the collection of forms, verification, documentation, and primary/general elections at the local government area
