Kogi East 2027; Former DG NPC, Dr Kashim Akor Declares for Senate under APC

The former Director General, National Productivity Center, NPC, Dr Kashim Akor NPOM, FNIM has declared his intention to represent Kogi East in the 2027 general elections.

Dr Akor , a technocrat, academic and staunt administrator worked and rose to the top echelon of government agency , the National Productivity Center NPC,Abuja .

Akor who hail from Ankpa local government area is a native of Ejegbo in the local government area.

He presided over the helms of affairs in the NPC for consecutive eight years , where he granted employment opportunities to thousands of kogites and Nigerians , provided empowerment and capacity building for indigenes of Kogi state and Nigerians, installed solar Street lights in Tertiary Institutions like Prince Abubakar Audu University, Federal Polytechnic Idah, College of Education Ankpa along with donation of computers to secondary schools in Kogi , Kogi state Polytechnic, Kogi state University, and Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa.

Dr Akor also innovated the installation of solar Street lights in Ankpa and it’s environs, Anyigba in Dekina local government areas among many other communities .

He donated hospital equipment to the Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba that had assisted greatly in the upgrading of the University clinic .

A member of Industrial Arbitration Panel , IAP , Abuja , Akor had arbitrated on many issues and occasions both in the public and private sector.

A community leader , Dr Akor is the Omachi Atta Igala, Otunba gbeluniyi of Ilaro and also a title holder in Olamaboro local government area.

He was also honored by the Ankpa Elders Forum for his meritorious service to the community and the entire country.

The Prince Abubakar Audu University also honored him with a meritorious award during the last combined convocation ceremony in Anyigba.
