Kogi East 2027; PDP Mohammed Abdullahi “Elephant” Storms Bassa, Dekina,Omala
Pay Glowing Tributes to Former Governor , Ibrahim idris.

In continuation of his consultation to assume the Senate of Kogi East in the next political dispensation under the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in 2027, the consultation train of Alhaji Muhammed Abdullahi, Elephant was in Bassa, Dekina and Omala local government areas to see and confer both with supporters and party faithfuls with a view to convincing them against the backdrop of the new order in 2027.

While in Bassa local government to receive decampees from his former New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP, he also used the opportunity to reconcile the warring factions of PDP in the area , with a view to moving the party forward and reclaiming the Senate for PDP in the next political dispensation in 2027 from Kogi East.
Describing Bassa as the stable of PDP in Kogi state, Alhaji Muhammed Abdullahi recalled how the party has hold sway at the inception of democratic dispensation in 1999, up till recently when democracy was stifled , becoming a war and game of fight to finish, unlike what was obtainable before now .
He used the opportunity to resolve the warring factions while urging them for the collective interest of PDP to ensure the party wins in the coming general elections.
The People’s Democratic Party, PDP Senatorial aspirant maintained that PDP is the only party that will not only protect democracy, but ensure the dividends of democracy get to the grassroot, particularly at the Ward, Local Government and State level without interferences.
He promised to give adequate attention to all party members irrespective of creed, religion or extraction, stating that democracy has giving leverage to all and sundry, with PDP umbrella big enough to contain all.
While describing the Bassa people as religiously committed to the PDP from the initial stage, he asked them to recommit themselves towards 2027.
The Senatorial aspirant also moved to Dekina local government for further consultation and received by large members of PDP and decampees of , NNPP, stating that Dekina and Omala served as the foundation of PDP in Kogi state.
He recalled how Former Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Ibrahim idris whose mother hail from Anyigba and father from Abejukolo brought PDP from nowhere to somewhere in Kogi , having won in 2023 general elections as opposition party against ANPP.
He enjoined the people of Dekina to rededicate themselves to the PDP, one because of the strength of votes from the local government and the original foundation of the party .
A vote from Dekina local government area covers about four or five local governments in Kogi , hence their supports will glavanize others from following soothe.
He told the people of Dekina that the spirit of Alhaji Ibrahim idris, former Kogi Governor has directed him to keep the PDP flag flying , therefore their supports should be natural towards realizing our mandate in 2027.
Also in Omala , he prayed for more years to the former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim idris, Jakadan Sokoto CON, saying Omala remained the origin home of PDP and his second home .
While urging them to sustain their usual support and loyalty to Alhaji Ibrahim idris, the father of PDP in Omala , Kogi , North Central and Nigeria at large, he said his performance both in Kogi State government for nine years, national level encouraged him to fly the PDP flag at the Senatorial district.
While acknowledging the large support from the people of the area, Alhaji Muhammed Abdullahi Elephant said he is much convinced that no matter the political atmosphere, Omala will vote for PDP in the next dispensation in 2027 .
When he emerged as the party’s candidate, he assured the people to carry along all and sundry with a view to sustaining the party supremacy and leadership.
He said the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, is PDP as the foundation of Nigeria’s Democracy as the only party to vote in the next dispensation to sustain opposition in Nigeria.
Having ruled the country for consecutive sixteen years, no doubt the ingredients of opposition and sustenance of Nigeria’s Democracy lies with PDP, Alhaji Muhammed Abdullahi, Elephant said .
