Kogi East and The Choice of WASC ,

BY ABUBAKAR YUSUF

In the history of kogi east since the political evolution both from the first republic to the return to democracy in 1999, kogi east has not descended so low into electing a representative under any political parties with the least academic qualification called WASC not to talk of accepting this charade in the present age of AI.

Unfortunately we are there , jettisoned ranking advantage of a financial guru sliding down to a WASC holder, if not a failure for that matter.

We have decided to embrace inexpressive, inexposed and stark individual into replacing a well respected financial and boardroom manager, exposed political figure of international background to where we are today.

But the joy was that our people are quick to realize, that the choice of imposition by non tribe of the APC anointed and lobbied senatorial candidate, Joseph Ameh Erico against the popular wish of kogi easterner, will not stand the taste of time.

The politics of electing the next governor of kogi state will start from the national assembly and the state assembly elections in the coming months .

If it is imposition that was contrived , the igala Bassa nation will learn their lessons this time around, with voting the right person with a well presentable results and certificate.

It is an abuse of our sensibilities to super impose an illiterate over the learned one, having exposed the incumbent senator Jibrin isah Echocho to ridicule before his people and entire Nigerians.

Yes, the ugly video were the current kogi east senator was kneeling down to appreciate former kogi governor, Yahaya Bello was stage managed to rubbish him and made him unpopular before his people, yet he was denied the ticket to return back to Senate to enable the igala nation benefit from the ranking advantage just like other states.

Since they cannot impose their choice in kogi west against the workaholic Senator Steve Karimi, the onus lies on the igala nation to prove our mettle in the forthcoming elections not only for the federal lawmakers, but all elections.

Enough is now Enough, nobody, no matter how highly placed, will come and impose a learner , a WASC holder on the igala nation in the present age.

You people have done your worst , wait for our worst in the new order .

For Senator Echocho , you came , you saw and conquered, we will continue to support you at all times as time shall tell .
