Chief Femi Olugbemi served as the Chief Press Secretary to Rt. Hon. Kolawole throughout his tenure as Speaker, a period characterized by transparency, legislative reforms, and increased public engagement. His effective coordination of media relations, management of public communications, and strategic dissemination of information helped position the Kogi State House of Assembly as a model of openness and accountability during Kolawole’s administration.

“Chief Femi Olugbemi is not just a media aide; he is a bridge between the government and the people. His work ethic, discipline, and passion for factual and responsible journalism have distinguished him as a pillar of communication within the Kogi State legislative environment,” Kolawole stated.

The former Speaker highlighted the milestone of turning 50 as a moment of reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to service. He noted that Chief Olugbemi’s life and career are worthy of emulation, particularly by the younger generation aspiring to enter public communication and governance roles.

“Fifty is not just a number; it represents a life of experiences, sacrifices, and accomplishments. Chief Olugbemi has demonstrated uncommon dedication and integrity in all assignments, and I am proud to have worked closely with him. As he celebrates this golden jubilee, I wish him continued wisdom, sound health, and greater achievements in the years to come,” Kolawole added.

He further urged Chief Olugbemi to continue using his voice and platform to advocate for truth, unity, and developmental progress in Kogi State and beyond.

The celebration of Chief Olugbemi’s 50th birthday is expected to bring together friends, colleagues, and well-wishers from across political, media, and civil society spaces to honor a man whose professional journey has significantly contributed to good governance and democratic values in the state.
