Kogi Gov’ship: Oba Ibeun Congratulates Gov. Ododo On Court of Appeal Victory
The Elulu of Mopa, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Muyiwa Ibeun has congratulated Kogi State Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo on the affirmation of his mandate by the Court of Appeal.
The declaration of the Court of Appeal is against the wishes of the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Alhaji Murtala Ajaka in Kogi State’s November 2023 Governorship Election, who is challenging the victory of the Governor in court.
The Kogi State Governorship Election Tribunal has earlier affirmed the victory of Governor Ododo.
Oba Ibeun in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Julius Abel-Ontop and sent to journalist also congratulated the people of Kogi State.
The monarch thanked Kogi State Governor for his good works, encourages him to continue to deliver on the mandate he was elected for.
