Kogi Guber Polls: Makama leads over 10,000 solidarity walk for Ododo in Ajaka

Ahead of the much awaited Governorship election in Kogi State, The Director General Special Task Force on Illegal smuggling of fire arms and other related crimes Elder Friday Sani Makama has led over 10,000 people on a solidarity walk for the Governorship Candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress, (APC) Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in Ajaka, under Odolu Local Government Area of Kogi State.

Thousands of APC supporters who stormed Ajaka, Headquarter of Igalamela Odolu Local Government all pledged their support for the Candidate of APC in the November 11 Governorship election.

Addressing party faithful, Elder Makama said the present administration led by Alhaji Yahaya Bello is leaving a legacy that deserves continuity, hence the need for the people of Ajaka to come out en-mass and vote for APC.

He described the APC Governorship candidate as a golden flower who will consolidate the good work of Alhaji Yahaya Bello stressing that, the November 11 election is a done deal as his party will win overwhelmingly.

While appealing to party supporters not to be intimidated, but remain resolute for the actualization of Kogi project, Elder Makama explained that, what Kogites needs is a Man who will continue to unite the people and not divide them for their own selfish interest.

He, however, commended the large turn out of people in Ajaka, assuring them that more dividend of democracy will come to their door step when Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is sworn in as the 5th democratically elected Governor in Kogi State on 27 January 2024.

“The people of Ajaka has proven again that Igalamela Odolu and the entire Kogi State is for APC with this large turn out to support APC candidate Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo who it been heavenly ordained to take over from our Principal Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Eleojo Bello.

” With this mammoth crowd who have come out happily despite their busy schedules to support our Candidate, it is obvious that opposition Parties in Igalamela and it environ are already panicking that they have lost the poll to our Candidate.

“My people of Ajaka, please don’t be deceived by those instigating ethnic divisibility ahead of this election. It will be a disservice to Kogi State to start promoting ethnic division all in the name of politics. I am an Igala Man, but I so much believe in Ododo who will consolidate on APC achievement in Kogi State. As you have all come out to support us, am assuring you all that when our candidate is sworn in come January 2024, Kogi State will be wearing a new look” he stated.

The solidarity walk for Ododo had in attendance Rector Kogi State Polytechnic, Dr Usman Ogbo, Chairman, Igalamela Odolu Local Government, Hon. James Onoja, APC Chairman Igalamela Odolu, Hon. Ochidi Momoh, Permanent Secretary, Ministry Of Local Government And Chieftaincy Affairs, Haiiya Habiba Jatto and
prominent political gladiators across Kogi East, amongst others.
