Appeal Court: Prince Shaibu Audu Visits Sen. Ohere, Expresses Optimism of Positive Outcome For Kogi APC.
The Minister For Steel Development, Prince Shaibu Abubakar Audu has expressed optimism of a positive outcome in the Appeal Court regarding the Kogi Central and Eastern Senatorial District.
The Minister expressed the optimism when he paid a scheduled visit to the Senator Representing Kogi Central, Sen. Abubakar Ohere, explained that the State cannot afford to be outside National relevance.
While explaining that the APC has appealed the Tribunal ruling, said without over stating the obvious, the APC won the elections, expressed confidence about the party maintaining it lead after the Appeal.
Prince Shaibu says the APC looks forward to a favourable outcome that will be best for the growth and development of the State, called on the people not allow their spirit to be dampened by the Tribunal ruling.
” Kogi cannot afford to be out of National dominance. Kogi is an APC State. The State from the efforts put in place by Gov. Yahaya Bello would see the State attract so much of development in this dispensation. What has happened is a only temporary setback. The APC will be victorious at the end”.
Speaking during the visit, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello, Kogi State APC Chairman used the opportunity to appreciate all the National Assembly Members from the State for their impactful motions thus far, described Kogi State as an APC State.
” We have appealed the Tribunal ruling with great expectations that our superior facts which the Tribunal overlooked will make us victorious at the Appeal”, appreciated Gov. Yahaya Bello for his leadership that has made the APC in the State the party to beat.
