Kogi Security Adviser, Jerry Omodara Commiserates with the Family of the Late Arch. Sunday Olugbemi Olutimayin
Commander Duro Jerry Omodara (Rtd), the State Security Adviser to the Kogi State Government, has expressed deep sympathy and support to the family of the late Arch. Sunday Olugbemi Olutimayin.
According to a message released by the State Security Adviser’s Media Office, the late Olutimayin was a respected elder, community pillar, and a man of peace whose knowledge and advice will be dearly missed.
“I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family of our dearly departed elder, Arch. Sunday Olutimayin, former Chairman of Oyi Local Government (1988–1989) and former Commissioner for Works, Transport, and Housing (1994–1995) under the administration of Col. Paul Omeruo.”
“Arch. Olutimayin was not only a distinguished public servant but also a pillar of wisdom, humility, and integrity whose leadership left a lasting mark on our community. His commitment to the growth and development of the then Oyi Local Government remains a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come” – the message read.
Omodara expressed his sincere condolences to the family, Kiri Kingdom, Bunu and Kogi State in general, saying he shared in their grief during this difficult moment. He encouraged all to take solace in the impactful life Arch. Olutimayin lived and the indelible memories he leaves behind.
He prayed the Almighty grant his soul eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
