Kogi Speaker Commiserates with NUJ over death of Elder Sam Ewgu, Leadership Correspondent in Kogi
Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly and Candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress for Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency in this month’s elections scheduled to hold on 25th, Rt. Hon. Kolawole Olushola Matthew, has condoled and commiserated with the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Kogi Council and the Leadership Newspaper over the demise of their member and correspondent, Elder Sam Ewgu whose death occurred few days ago after a protracted illness.
The Speaker said it is devastating and sad for someone to lose one of his trusted allies in the pen and paper world, especially a beloved dependable member who has been so supportive to the union, praying that God will comfort the children, family and union.
It is on this note that Rt. Hon. Matthew O. Kolawole on behalf of his family, the people of Kabba/Bunu State Constituency, members, management and staff of the State Assembly wish to commiserate with the Kogi State House of Assembly Press Corp and the entire family for the death of their beloved husband, father, grandfather and member Elder Sam Ewgu, who died at the age of 67 years.
