Kogi Speaker Congratulates Gov. Bello, Sen. Karimi, Hon. Seyi Bello and others APC Candidates on Election Victories

The Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and Candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the yet to be concluded National Assembly Elections in Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency , Rt. Hon. (Prince) Olushola Matthew Kolawole has congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello, Sen. Sunday Karimi, Hon Seyi Bello and other candidates of the party on their victory at the just concluded general elections in the country.

The Speaker made this known in a press statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Olugbemi Femi and made available to newsmen in Lokoja yesterday.

According to him, the huge success recorded in the presidential, national assembly and state assembly elections is a testimony of the purposeful leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello which has further strengthened the party at the state level, urged all stakeholders to continue to give their genuine supports and cooperation to the administration.

He said the party has become the darling of Nigerians who have seen greater future in the ability of the President Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s capability to turn around the entire situations of the country to better, stressing that with the crops of people and personality elected on the platform in the state, the people will get more formidable dividends of democracy in the next political dispensation.

He noted that the decision of INEC in announcing result of an unconcluded election was wrong because there are overwhelming evidence that the election has not been concluded before the unjust declaration of the ADC candidate, pointed out that despite the huge inducement and gang up, he is optimistic that the judiciary which is the last hope of the common man will do justice to it as such the mandate will be retrieved for the betterment of the people of the area, stressing that Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency cannot afford to be in opposition party.

He charged all elected personalities in the state to represent the people well and work hard to justify the confidence the people repose in them by providing qualitative representations and give back commesstrate dividends of democracy to the people as such the party will continue to be stronger.

He urged party faithful and his supporters to remain calm and be law abiding as the issue is already before the tribunal which is the channel provided by law to adjudicate on the matter.
