Kogi West Senator, Felicitates Prof. Gbenga Ibileye as He Assumes Office as FUL’s Vice-Chancellor.

The Senator, Representing Kogi West, Sen. Sunday Karimi has congratulated Professor Gbenga Ibileye as h,e ie formally assumes office today as the 4th substantive Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja (FUL).

 

Professor Ibileye, a renowned Professor of English and former Provost of the College of Postgraduate Studies, officially took over the leadership of the institution following the completion of tenure by his predecessor, Professor Akinwumi.

In his message, the Senator described Professor Ibileye as an accomplished scholar and a seasoned administrator whose wealth of experience will further advance the university’s growth and reputation. He noted that FUL occupies a strategic place in Kogi State and Nigeria’s educational landscape, expressing optimism that the new Vice-Chancellor will consolidate on existing achievements and introduce innovative reforms.

 

Senator Karimi wished Professor Ibileye a successful and impactful tenure, praying for divine wisdom, strength and clarity of vision as he begins the responsibility of leading the university into a new phase of academic excellence and institutional development.
