Kogi West Unity Secures Karimi’s Victory, Says Pastor Stanley Ajileye
The leadership of the Kogi West 4 Tinubu & Karimi Re-election Project has described the emergence of Senator Karimi as the party’s candidate as a victory for democracy, unity, and the collective will of the people of Kogi West.
In a statement titled “Vox Populi, Vox Dei – The Voice of the People is the Voice of God,” on behalf of the group’s leadership, Pastor Stanley Ajileye, said the outcome of the primary election demonstrated the power of unity and determination in shaping the political future of the people.
According to Ajileye, Senator Karimi’s victory transcends personal success, representing “a resounding victory for the good people of Kogi West, a victory for democracy, and a powerful testament to what determination, courage, and unity can achieve.”
He noted that the people of Kogi West had spoken with one voice through peaceful self-determination, proving that political power ultimately belongs to the people when they remain united behind a common purpose.
“The people of Kogi West have taken their destiny into their own hands. This victory belongs to every man, woman, and youth who believed that a better future was possible and worked tirelessly to make it a reality,” he stated.
Ajileye commended the people of Kogi West for their resilience and unwavering commitment to the democratic process. He also expressed appreciation to the All Progressives Congress (APC) for standing by what he described as the popular will of the people.
While celebrating the victory, he cautioned supporters against complacency, stressing that the primary election marked only the beginning of the political journey.
“This is not yet Uhuru. The journey is not over. We must remain united, vigilant, and resolute as we prepare for the general election. We must work together to defend our collective choice and protect every single vote until victory is finally secured,” he said.
He urged party faithful and supporters to sustain the spirit of unity, emphasizing that collective resolve remains the greatest strength of the people.
“As the saying goes, united we stand, divided we fall. Let us continue to march as one people, inspired by hope, strengthened by our unity, and driven by our shared determination to build a stronger and more prosperous Kogi West and Nigeria,” he added.
On behalf of the leadership of the Kogi West 4 Tinubu & Karimi Re-election Project, Ajileye expressed gratitude to supporters, volunteers, stakeholders, and well-wishers whose commitment, sacrifice, and dedication contributed to the victory.
He concluded by expressing confidence that the same unity that produced success at the primary election would secure victory at the general election.
“Together, we have made history. Together, we shall defend it. Together, we shall achieve even greater victories.”
He prayed for God’s continued blessings upon Kogi West, the APC, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
