KWANKWASIYYA MOVEMENT, 14 POLITICAL PARTIES BACK HON. SANNI JIDE FOR KABBA/BUNU-IJUMU HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

In a major political development ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Kwankwasiyya Movement and a coalition of fourteen political parties have thrown their weight behind Hon. Sanni Jide’s aspiration to represent Kabba/Bunu-Ijumu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

The endorsement, which political observers have described as a significant boost to Hon. Sanni Jide’s growing popularity across the constituency, reflects the confidence many stakeholders have in his leadership capacity, grassroots connection, and commitment to the development of Kabba, Bunu, and Ijumu communities.

The Kwankwasiyya Movement, a prominent grassroots political movement known for its emphasis on youth empowerment, education, and social development, has remained influential in Nigeria’s political landscape.

The movement traces its roots to former Kano State Governor, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and has built a reputation for mobilizing support around progressive governance and people-oriented policies.

Speaking during the endorsement gathering, at okun capital Kabba, leaders of the coalition stated that Hon. Sanni Jide possesses the vision, competence, and compassion required to provide effective representation for the people of the federal constituency. They noted that his numerous humanitarian interventions, support for youths and women, and consistent advocacy for community development distinguish him as a worthy candidate.

According to the coalition, the constituency requires a representative who understands the challenges facing the people, particularly in the areas of insecurity, unemployment, infrastructure deficit, youth empowerment, and economic development. The coalition further emphasized that Hon. Sanni Jide has demonstrated unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people through his philanthropic activities and regular engagement with constituents, even without occupying an elective office.

In his response, Hon. Sanni Jide expressed profound appreciation to the Kwankwasiyya Movement and the fourteen political parties for the overwhelming vote of confidence. He described the endorsement as a call to greater service and pledged to remain committed to the aspirations of the people.

“I am humbled by this historic endorsement. This support is not for Sanni Jide alone but for the collective desire of our people to build a more prosperous, secure, and united Kabba/Bunu-Ijumu Federal Constituency. Together, we shall continue to pursue a future where every youth has opportunities, every community enjoys development, and every citizen has a voice,” he said.

Hon. Sanni Jide also called on supporters across party lines to embrace unity, peaceful political participation, and issue-based campaigns as preparations intensify for the 2027 elections.
Political analysts believe the endorsement by the Kwankwasiyya Movement and the coalition of fourteen political parties signals increasing momentum for Hon. Sanni Jide’s aspiration and could reshape the political calculations within Kabba/Bunu-Ijumu Federal Constituency in the months ahead.
As political activities gather pace, supporters maintain that the growing coalition around Hon. Sanni Jide represents a broad-based movement aimed at delivering purposeful leadership, effective representation, and sustainable development to the people of Kabba, Bunu, and Ijumu.
