The Special Adviser to Governor Ododo on Solid Minerals , Hon. Segun Ashiru, aka Unity has extended his heartfelt greetings all Muslims across the state and beyond in celebration of this year’s Eid el-Fitr.
In a statement issued by him, Hon.Segun Ashiru expressed his joy and shared in the festive spirit of Eid el-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
“I extend my sincere and warm Eid el-Fitr greetings to all Muslim faithful in Yagba East, Kogi State, and across the nation. May this special occasion bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to your homes. As we celebrate, let us also reflect on the valuable lessons learned during the month of Ramadan, particularly the importance of peace, unity, self-discipline, and compassion,” said Honourable Ashiru.
Let the virtues of love and tolerance guide your actions, the spirit of togetherness and goodwill that was nurtured during the fasting period should not be forgotten.
He called on Muslims to continue to demonstrate love, kindness, and mutual respect for one another, as well as to extend these values to everyone.
“This period of Eid is not just about celebration, but also a reminder of the importance of fostering peace and understanding. Let us all strive to be our best selves and contribute to building a more harmonious society,” he added.
Hon. Ashiru aka Unity also expressed his commitment to supporting the administration of the Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Usman Ododo to ensuring that the values of peace, love, and unity are always at the forefront of his leadership.
