Miyetti Allah Says No Eviction Notice Was Issued To Fulani In Kwara

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) Kwara state Chapter has described as false the alleged rumour of quite notice issued to Fulani in some parts of Kwara state.
The state Chairman of MACBAN,Alhaji Shehu Garba in a statement made available to newsmen in Ilorin said there was no place in Kwara where eviction notice was issued to Fulani herders.
According to him investigation by the association in the areas mentioned in the social media publication which included,Patigi,Ifelodun Gbgugbu among others shows that the allegations were false.
Alhaji Garba explained that from all indications the rumour of the eviction notice to Fulani was a figment of the imagination of peddlers of the information who did not want peace in the society.
He noted that there was no such notice issued to Fulani Community by either the state government,local government,the traditional Institution or Vigilantes across the state.
The MACBAN chairman thanked the state government, local authorities,security agencies and other stakeholders for their efforts in ensuring peace and security in the nooks and crannies of the state.
He urged law abiding Fulani to go about their lawful business and disregard the rumoured eviction notice.
The Fulani leader also warned the criminal elements in their midst to leave the state and allow peace to reign.
