NCWS Hails Nigeria’s First Lady’s Commitment to Women’s Welfare, Pledges Continued Loyalty to Renewed Hope Administration

Abuja — The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) President of the National Council of Women Societies (NCWS), Hajiya Adiza Abdullahi, has commended the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, for her unwavering commitment to improving the welfare of women in the FCT.
Hajiya Adiza made the commendation in her opening remarks during the official commissioning of the newly built office complex of the FCT Chapter of the National Council for Women Societies, located at Plot 786, Gwarinpa District, Abuja, on Monday, November 3, 2025.
According to her, since the inauguration of her husband, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and her assumption of office as the Mother of the Nation, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has continued to champion the cause of women’s welfare — not only in the FCT but across the entire country.
She noted that the First Lady has demonstrated deep commitment and passion for women’s empowerment through various initiatives aimed at promoting gender equality and amplifying the voices of women in the nation’s capital like never before.
Expressing her profound gratitude, Hajiya Adiza appreciated the First Lady for sending a high-powered delegation, led by the wife of the Deputy Senate President, Hajiya Laila Barau Jibrin, to perform the commissioning ceremony on her behalf.
She further pledged the unwavering support and loyalty of the NCWS FCT Chapter to the First Lady and the Renewed Hope Administration led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
