NGC Solidarity Drums Support for Tinubu’s Reelection, Sensitizes Nigerians on Voter Registration
By Ahiaba Douglas – Abuja
In a bold political move aimed at ensuring an overwhelming victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reelection bid, a support group under the aegis of NCG Solidarity for Tinubu 4+4, in collaboration with the Office of the National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has embarked on a massive awareness and mobilization drive to actualize the continuity of the Renewed Hope administration beyond 2027.
The event, themed “Your Vote, Your Voice, Our Future,” held on Thursday, November 30th, 2025, at the Dr. Mariam Babangida Centre for Women Development, Abuja, was aimed at educating Nigerians on the necessity of obtaining their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), especially those who have yet to do so.
The gathering attracted participants from across Nigeria’s 36 states, alongside APC chieftains and leaders of various support groups canvassing for President Tinubu’s reelection in 2027.
Addressing participants at the well-attended symposium, Chief (Amb.) Nwaneri Goodluck, Convener of the CSG 4+4 Solidarity, emphasized the importance of the Voter’s Card, describing it as “the most potent civil weapon for realizing one’s political will.” He urged Nigerians to ensure they obtain their PVCs as registration continues, in order to return President Tinubu to office in 2027.
Chief Nwaneri called on Nigerians to support President Tinubu’s reelection, noting that his appeal was based on the need to consolidate on the trajectory of transformational leadership witnessed under the Renewed Hope administration.
As an entrepreneur and major distributor of Dangote and BUA Cement, Nwaneri highlighted how improvements in Nigeria’s economy under Tinubu’s leadership have positively impacted his business and philanthropic activities across the Southeast. He stated that many southeastern entrepreneurs have benefitted from the administration’s economic and infrastructural reforms, particularly in the transport and maritime sectors, citing the decongestion of the nation’s ports as a major milestone fostering business growth.
Earlier, the Director General of CSG 4+4 Solidarity, Hon. Excel Chimere Ikechukwu, reiterated the group’s unwavering commitment to Tinubu’s reelection bid. He emphasized the importance of sensitizing Nigerians—especially young people—on the achievements of the Renewed Hope administration to counter misinformation from opposition politicians.
Highlighting the administration’s strides, Ikechukwu noted that President Tinubu has stabilized Nigeria’s economy from near collapse, strengthened the naira through fiscal reforms, and improved foreign reserves. He also referenced the NELFUND student loan initiative, which has enabled students in federal institutions to pursue their studies without financial constraints.
When asked by journalists whether the newly formed coalitions and the African Democratic Congress (ADC) pose any threat to Tinubu’s reelection, Ikechukwu dismissed such claims. He described them as “a coalition of individuals bent on denying the president’s visible achievements,” insisting that they pose no electoral challenge to the APC.
He urged Nigerians to “ignore the falsehoods and campaigns of calumny by opposition parties, remain steadfast in their support for the Renewed Hope administration, and ensure the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2027″.
