NDC House of Reps Candidate Inaugurates Campaign Group in Ebonyi

The candidate for Afikpo and Edda federal constituency of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, Chief Agwu Ama Agwu has inaugurated his 2027 campaign structure in the consistency.
Inaugurating the 70 campaign members, named Agwu Ama Movement, on Sunday at the two respective council areas, the candidate charged all supporters and members to see the inauguration not as a celebration, but as a call to duty.
“This structure wins elections. Unity wins the future. The political landscape of Afikpo & Edda Federal Constituency shifted today as the Agwu Ama Movement formally inaugurated its ward structure in a historic back-to-back ceremony across both LGAs”
“This atmosphere is charged with unity and purpose as ward coordinators, youth leaders, women leaders, and critical stakeholders from Edda were officially inaugurated. The event marked the grassroots foundation of the movement”.
“Like Edda, the 5 Village Representatives, 10 Youth Leaders, 10 Women Leaders, and 10 Critical Stakeholders per ward received their mandate in a ceremony that confirmed the movement’s reach into every community”, he declared.
Agwu-Ama further urged every coordinator to return to their villages and ensure no compound, no kindred was left behind in the mission to deliver purposeful representation.
The Director General of the Agwu Ama Movement, Chief Chukwuma Imo Oka also charged the group to mobilise people from village to the local government level to ensure total victory for their candidate.
According to the DG: “you are the engine room. Your loyalty, organization, and discipline at the ward and village level will determine victory at the polls. Submit clean lists. Mobilize your people. The work starts now”.
Other speakers including an elder statesman, Engr Samuel Ukpaia dmonished NDC party faithful and canvassers to remain united, focused, and issue-based.
He reminded them that the movement was built on service, equity, and people-first leadership, not division.
