NIGERIA AT 65TH: Dr. Folabora Bryhm Congratulates Kogites and Nigerians

“We Will Survive the Cacophony of Fear, Apprehension, Anxiety, and Confusion”

As Nigeria celebrates its 65th Independence Anniversary, Dr. Folabora Bryhm offers warm congratulations to the people of Kogi State and all Nigerians. He expresses gratitude to Almighty God for His continuous grace, mercy, and protection over the nation.

Dr. Folabora acknowledges that while this celebration comes amidst huge national challenges, it also serves as a time for serious reflection. He emphasizes that despite economic hardship, insecurity, and political disappointment, the gift of life and the resilience of Nigerians are worth celebrating.

“In the past few years, Nigerians have never had it so bad. The faces of our people reflect despair, regret, and deep neglect,” he says.

He mourns the widespread insecurity, destruction of farmlands, kidnappings, and the breakdown of trust between citizens and those in power. From North to South, East to West, he points out, the stories are the same—filled with grief, loss, and disillusionment.

More concerning, he adds, is the growing hopelessness, driven by insincerity, deceit, and failures of leadership. He criticizes the ruling party for inconsistent policies and what he sees as a clear disconnection from the realities faced by ordinary Nigerians.

Despite the harsh conditions, Dr. Folabora calls for renewed hope, faith in God, and collective strength.

“Let us not lose hope. Let us believe in God’s intervention to restore our peace, unity, and progress.”

He remains hopeful that Nigeria will rise again—that peace, prosperity, and purpose will soon be the new anthem of the nation and that Nigeria’s lost glory will be restored.

In conclusion, Dr. Folabora urges Kogites and all Nigerians to stay resolute, united, and committed to the principles of democracy and nation-building, even in tough times.

The light and glory of God will shine again upon our land, and Nigeria will take her rightful place among the nations.
